Owusu-Ankomah
The catalogue accompanied the solo exhibition of the Ghanaian painter Owusu-Ankomah at the Galerie Walu in Zurich in September 2004. Characteristic of his works are athletically idealised figures, overlaid with Adinkra symbols of the Asante, whose symbolism he transfers into contemporary art.
